Lessons

Get your Facebook Group chatting.

It’s as easy as 1-2-3!

Crickets. Is that what you “hear” when you post in your Facebook Group? Fear not! This can change in 3 easy steps. If you follow our lead and do as we say – because it’s what we do ourselves (so, you know, we know that it works!) – then you will surely have a bunch of chatty birds in your group before you know it!

Adhere to the 80/20 Rule
The 80/20 Rule is actually pretty simple! You want to post content that is 80% non-promotional posts with 20% being your biz posts (aka products and business opportunity). That means out of 10 posts, 8 of them will be about topics that offer value and create engagement while 2 of them will be directly about your business. This applies to ALL platforms and locations on social media, meaning that yes, in your FB group, you will want to adhere to the 80/20 Rule. Why? Because social media is meant to be SOCIAL – especially in groups. People are not interested in seeing product ads after a product ad. Sure, they want to receive updates on the latest products and sales, but as far as daily posts, be sure to provide value and give them a reason to check in and see what you’re posting. And remember to have the content relate to your LBB business so that you can learn more about your group members and they get to know you as well.

Ask Questions with CTAs
A ‘CTA’, or Call to Action, authentically derives a response from your group members when used – Why? Because they work! If you don’t ask a question, why would someone comment and not just click on a reaction? Naturally, by giving them a gentle push by asking their opinion or experience about something, they will jump at the chance to “help” or give their two cents. Everyone loves to give their two cents on Facebook – we all know it! Because of this fun fact, CTAs are a MUST when you’re posting in your group.

Be consistent
Post daily in your group. Even if it’s just one post, being consistent and visible in your members’ news feeds will show them that 1) you are active and passionate about what you do and 2) you are a reliable source for them. They can count on you. You’re stable and provide great content as well as products when they need them. By planning ahead and scheduling your posts, you can not only save time but you can also focus on getting to know your group members!

BONUS:
Go LIVE and show them who you really are! Share funny family moments, be yourself. Don’t worry about having the “perfect recording” – it’s your group! People will be drawn to you and open up to you if you’re friendly, upbeat, and laugh along with them at your bloopers!

6 Strategies for Facebook and Instagram Advertising During the COVID-19 Pandemic

  1. Stay consistent and extend your high-performing ads

  2. Build brand awareness with your online audience

  3. Find new leads and build your email marketing list with lead ads

  4. Focus on remarketing campaigns

  5. Test new ad creative and audiences

  6. Try Facebook and Instagram Live

The COVID-19 outbreak is having a significant impact on a daily business and consumer behavior, and as a result, these are times when small business owners and advertisers need to find opportunities that will help them build personalized and lasting relationships with their audiences from a safe distance. Unprecedented times call for adjustments to your online advertising, and we can help.

1. Stay consistent and extend your high-performing ads

Facebook recently warned advertisers that due to recent staffing changes there will likely be some delays and errors as they increase their reliance on automated systems to review new ads and commerce listings. This means that when new ads are submitted or edited (e.g., changing copy, headlines, images, audience targeting), it will cause the ad to undergo a new review policy. To avoid disruption to your ad, Facebook's Director of Product, recommends that brands extend the delivery period of their best performing ads, as new campaigns will be subject to a new review:

2. Build brand awareness with your online audience

With more consumers at home, we’ll likely see more consumers browsing online to pass the time. In fact, this effect is already taking place, as Verizon recently reported a 20% week over week increase in web traffic. With more impressions and shifts in competition, your CPM is likely to decrease—which presents a good opportunity to capture more reach from your budget on Facebook and Instagram.  So far, we've seen a 12.7% drop in CPM month over month in our in-house Facebook account—and we're watching it daily to see how it evolves.

If you’re able to, plan out your LBB  ads in advance—this is the time when people will be looking for content to consume. Content should revolve around the value our products or our service provides, and how it will benefit them when they’re ready to purchase and/or want to plan for the future.

3. Find new leads and build your email marketing list with Facebook lead ads

Because our LBB business is a service-based, online, chances are you we should send emails to keep our audiences engaged and up to date via newsletters. This could be a great time to shift your strategy to collecting new leads and emails in place of promoting sales.

With a Facebook lead ad campaign, you have the opportunity to:

  • Pique interest with content.

  • Increase leads and signups for email newsletter campaigns.

  • Create an audience to remarket to at a future date

With our products, you could have your audience subscribe to be the first to know whenever there are any upcoming promotions, new product launches, and any other important business updates or even have people interested in our opportunity!

4. Focus on remarketing campaigns

According to Barilliance, over 75% of shoppers will abandon your site without completing their purchase. With increased browsing, now is a good time to re-engage with previous website visitors and get them back to your site with an incentive like special promos, shopping incentive ( Sign up to win a $100 gift basket or I am your, personal shopper)

This is especially true for businesses experiencing increased traffic right now, like at-home fitness, healthy delivery options, and gifting deliveries ( Flowers, Thank you, Love You, Thinking of you)!

In addition to website visitors, you can also drive new potential leads and sales by testing engagement custom audiences, which allow you to target users who have engaged with your content across Facebook and Instagram.

This includes remarketing to those who have liked, commented on, shared, or interacted with your Facebook and Instagram business page, watched your videos, or viewed/filled out a lead form. Remember, the more relevant you can get, the better engagement you will see, so segment your audience as much as possible.

5. Test new ad creative and audiences

Have you been wanting to test new ad creative to see if your audience engages better with specific imagery and messaging? Now might be the time to test out a new creation on a variety of audiences to gather the information that will make your future campaigns more effective.

When testing new audiences, consider creating a new ad set rather than updating an existing one so that you can better understand the true impact. For new ad creative, you’ll want to test against an already high-performing ad. This way you can compare the results directly to an ad that you know performs well for your specific business, saving you time when analyzing results.

Pro Tip: You’ll only want to test out one element at a time for a more accurate analysis. For example, if you want to test new imagery, don’t make any changes to the headlines or copy. Give it a couple of days and monitor performance.

Here are a few things you can try testing.

  • Audience targeting, demographic, interest-based, or custom audiences.

  • Ad copy, including headlines and CTAs.

  • Landing pages, including copy, design, and messaging.

  • Ad creative, like images vs. videos.

6. Try Facebook, Instagram Live, and Tik Tok!

We suggest that you think about how you can shift your LBB business strategy to offer your products and/or services online to adjust to these unprecedented times. If that’s not possible, getting online and in touch with your customers and prospects on Facebook, Instagram Live and Tik Tok can still help.

With live video, you can connect with your audience in a more direct and genuine way. Plus, we know that effective video marketing can result in higher conversions: Facebook and Instagram Live videos receive 3x higher engagement than pre-recorded videos. So grab your phone and start streaming to engage with your customers.

People who are self-isolating or practicing social distancing will be seeking opportunities to connect with more people face to face. While this isn’t in direct contact, it is a current solution offering the interaction and online experience your audience is craving. Try answering questions in real-time, offer online check-ins, webinars, online demos, and more to keep your audiences up to date with the latest your LBB  business has to offer.

To execute a successful live event, make sure that your broadcast is as clear and high-resolution as possible. Try a practice round beforehand, but don’t stress too much. The point of live stream is to provide a real, genuine reflection of your brand.

Overall, there’s a positive and empathetic angle your LBB business can take to become creative in a world of social distancing, so use this opportunity to get creative, and explore new ways of expanding your reach via Facebook and Instagram.

Are you struggling with engagement?

I know guys you all work so hard and yes the struggle is there and I want to share with you how you can immediately increase your social media engagement.

🏆The #1 thing you need to do is to be consistent. Consistent is the key,

And the best is to Use evergreen content I know you are asking what is that.

What Is Evergreen Content? A definition

Evergreen content is SEO content that is continually relevant and stays “fresh” for readers.

So Why Is It Called “Evergreen”?

The term “evergreen” sounds familiar even to the non-marketing ear because evergreen trees (usually the pine or fir variety) are often used to decorate homes at Christmas. The evergreen tree is a symbol of perpetual life because they retain their leaves throughout the seasons, rather than shedding. Like the trees, evergreen content is considered sustainable and lasting.

Maybe you are thinking, “Hey, wait a minute. All content online is sustainable; the articles and blog posts don’t ever disappear.” When we talk about a piece of content is “evergreen,” we mean that evergreen content is content that continues to be relevant long past its publication, so traffic grows over time.

To better clarify what kind of writing is considered “evergreen,” we can examine what types of pieces are specifically not evergreen.

What Evergreen Content is Not:

  • News articles

  • Statistics or numerical reports that are likely to change and go out of date

  • Pieces about a specific holiday or season

  • Articles focused on a current trend or pop culture fad

  • Latest clothing and fashion trends

Evergreen web content has (virtually) no expiration date and ideally will retain its value over the long-term. Anything written about this year’s easter or holidays, for example, is not evergreen content because it will become obsolete and many keywords associated with that topic will end up in the Google graveyard, never to be searched again.

Evergreen Article Ideas

Some subjects just never get old! Here are some evergreen article ideas that are as old as humanity:

  • Love and Romance

  • Food

  • Finance/Saving Money

  • Parenting

  • Weight Loss

  • Jobs and Careers

What does that have to do with La Bella it really does not bit when you add content like this to your feeds you will continue to get people to stay on your feeds and whatever else you will be posting Make sense right

But if you go back to those article ideas love and romance is a topic and we can associate with flowers and our romance gift baskets to show love

Food - we can talk about our care packages and whom to send them too

Save money and so on even if you go off-topic say you put recipes that is fine you always want to keep an active feed and articles people will be reading,

To keep you consistent on your social media including:

1. Engagement Posts

2. Articles

3. Videos

4. Memes

5. Inspirational and Motivational Quotes

🏆Then, be consistent by posting content your community needs or wants. Ask yourself, is this inspirational or educational or hilarious?

🏆Include CTA's (call to actions) in every post. Ask your community a question that will prompt them to want to engage.

🏆Host online workshops, maybe parties, try-ons, and product demos! People LOVE to see what problem you solve for them - so show them by offering educational information on your service or product.

🏆Respond to all the comments, DMs and replies - and go the extra mile! Go to the person's profile and get to know them, that way you can reply with something that feels personal.

🏆Run a contest or giveaway! This is a sure-fire way to boost your engagement. Either host your own giveaway or get together with other like-minded social media influencers like yourself to do a group contest.

🏆Use two attention-grabbing words at the beginning of a post. Stop the scroll by sharing instantly a clue to what you're posting about. Most people only read the first 6 words of the post - are you using them to the best of your ability? Don't bury the lead!

Here is a list of post ideas for your social media platforms. Interacting with great content will make your followers comment and share! So start posting and in a month's time please let us know your results!
